Information Products or Infoproducts are hot right now. They are one of the top ways coaches, consultants, and holistic practitioners can add a passive income stream to their business model. Infoproducts can be extremely valuable to service-based professionals that typically work with clients one-on-one: they allow you to generate more income without adding more direct service hours to your schedule.

Why are information products so appealing?
Service-based solopreneurs are drawn to the low barriers to entry, high profit margins, hands-off management, and a fairly quick time-to-market. A well-done information product can be created and released in less than a week, with the right systems in place. And with a well-planned marketing strategy, the return on investment can be immediate.
